Our insect bite ointment is a natural solution to protect your horse from irritating insects. With a composition that includes high-quality pine tar oil* and essential oils, our ointment provides comprehensive protection against mosquitoes, gnats, horseflies, and other biting insects. While it repels insects, the ointment also cares for your horse's sensitive skin.

Our anhydrous and fat-based ointment is designed to soften and make the skin smooth and supple. The natural fragrances and essential oils also help to mask your horse's natural scent while creating a protective layer that cares for the area.

Nourishing and softening bee balm
Our nourishing bee balm is an all-natural product with a mild lavender scent that both soothes and relieves the skin.

The ointment is anhydrous, fat-based, deeply softening, and leaves the skin smooth and supple. The ointment is based on olive oil and beeswax, where the olive oil has a mild and soothing effect on irritated skin, and the beeswax creates a protective film on the skin.

Usage

Far & Fly Spray 500 ml
Shake the bottle well before use for best effect. Repeat as needed, especially on warm days or after bathing/rain.

Far & Fly Ointment 150 ml
Depending on your horse's needs, applying our rich ointment every other or every third day may be sufficient. This makes the product both very cost-effective and sustainable.

Since the ointment is oil-based, we recommend applying it to areas less exposed to direct sunlight on warm days. You can advantageously use it in places such as:
Around the sheath, in the groin, in the belly seam, in the "armpits"/around the elbows, and on the chest.

This prevents the ointment from getting too hot and provides your horse with the best possible protection and comfort.
